Dodog & Friends

Kapitaal organizes a lot of exhibitions but this is a very special one. Never forget where you came from is the theme! A tasty exhibition in honour of artist, teacher and our very dear friend Dodog Soeseno in printstudio/livingroom Kapitaal. Together with Dodog and a lot of his friends we are celebrating friendship artistry, crafts, fun and food. Come to the opening Friday the 21st of October at 20:00 and let’s eat, dance and enjoy the beautiful works of Dodog Soeseno and new works by participating friends: Astrid Florentinus, De Kijm, Guido de Boer, Hidenori Mitsue, Jelle Schell, Jip Piet, Joris Diks, Kai Ming Li, Lisette van Hoogenhuyze, Maurits Wouters, Max Kisman, Serene Hui and Vincent de Boer. Dodog Soeseno – ontmoeting in een stroom van beelden.
The book (24 x 17 cm) has 64 pages, lots of images of Dodog’s work and is written in Dutch and English.

Dodog considers his teaching and guidance experience over the many years very important for his art. His practice consists of a diary through a stream of images; however, his masterpiece is the collective work produced by all of his students and other artists guided and helped by him.
